DeWitt D. Barlow Elementary School, part of the Plainfield Public Schools district, serves approximately 370 students in grades K-5. Located in the northeastern part of The Queen City, it features a diverse student body and staff. The school, housed in a historically significant building, is named after Dewitt Dukes Barlow, who was Plainfield's mayor from 1937 to 1939 and a Board of Education member from 1924 to 1937.
